Our pontoon and stern fender models
When docking, it is essential to protect your boat’s hull from crashing into the pontoon or quay. Fenders can be positioned at various areas of the hull, namely along the midship beam and anywhere else likely to rub against the dock. They must be placed level with the water when docking along a pontoon or cat way, and level with the strake when docking along a quay or another boat. KM Nautisme sells pontoon fenders manufactured by Plastimo and Polyform - expert brands in the design of semi-rigid, inflatable or foam fenders. We also carry a selection of flat fenders, perfect for regattas, and among them our must-have high-resistance spherical fender, cylindrical interconnected or ring fender, or even our ladder fender that makes climbing aboard easier whilst protecting the hull. To ensure utmost protection for your sailing boat, you may also choose to install a supple polyurethane stern fender.
Fender support items and accessories
Our anchoring products also include stainless steel cord supports for fenders and rustproof connectors (stainless steel or nylon) to link several supports together. They are suitable for long fenders, and namely the innovative fender supplied by Plastimo, made to envelop the shape of the hull for speedboats and other rounded-hull boats. Among our fender accessories, we have protective covers available in 10 different sizes and several colours. Ideal for collector’s sailing boats, our fender covers avoid any scratches caused by semi-rigid models when rubbing against the hull. It also protects the fender against UV rays and dirt.
Pontoon fenders
They quay or pontoon bumper has a dual use: it protects the pontoon and the hull of any boat that docks there. Developed by the industry leader Plastimo, these quay fenders for boats are available in various models, to be selected based on the pontoon structure and type of boat to be docked. Here at KM Nautisme, pontoon fenders can be fixed or jointed, for edges or corners, and will secure your docking by dampening any impacts when manoeuvring or if the sea is rough. Acting as a partner for both individual users, nautical clubs and communities, KM Nautisme also offers a selection of emergency ladders to help anyone who fell into the water climb back onto the pontoon or boat safely.
